30% of female workforce contributes to national economy: report

The female workforce ratio has been estimated at 30.14%, reflecting its very low proportion in the country's economic growth.

According to the International Task Force (ILO) report, women make up 70% of the country's total population, of which only 22% to 30% contributed to the economy.

Private sector economist Shae Sarwar said that women have a very important place in the economic stability of the workforce, because without their participation, growth of the economy would not be possible.
