30% of the female workforce contributes to the national economy: report

The proportion of the female workforce has been estimated at 30.14%, which shows its very low proportion in the country's economic growth.

According to the report of the International Task Force (ILO), women make up 70% of the country's total population, of which only 22% to 30% contributed to the economy.

Shahee Sarwar, a private sector economist, said that women as a workforce have a very important place in economic stability, because without their participation, the growth of the economy would not be possible.
